Warehouse Manager AMSM

AMSM is looking for an ambitious and highly driven person to join our growing Warehouse and Distribution Department as a Warehouse Manager. The chosen candidate will be working with the leading FMCG company on the island, with the best local and international brands.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Oversee the general day-to-day operations of the Warehouse
• Train, coach, and mentor employees to reach maximum efficiency
• Allocate duties to employees
• Carry out annual appraisals
• Be responsible for employee attendance and payroll data
• Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles
• Be responsible for stock replenishment and third-party storage
• Ensure that company stock control procedures are followed
• Ensure that deliveries are planned out in an efficient manner
• Be responsible for cycle counts and stock takes
• Ensure that Health & Safety is always observed, and that warehouse equipment is used effectively
• Report any progress and/or shortcomings to Senior Management with the aim of developing efficient and functional solutions.

YOUR PROFILE

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management position
• Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures
• Good command of both English and Maltese
• Strong people skills
• Strong organisational and analytical skills
• Sound understanding of the nature of business plans
• Ability to empower employees to achieve targets
• Excellent communication skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

Tertiary level of education would be considered an asset
